This is Luther, he is Scout's pet falcon. This is not your average falcon, some of his feathers are metal blades and he wears an armor. You get to take control of him during gameplay to survey the playfield from the air.
I had to model birds before on animated movies, so I knew how challenging they can be to model and rig. This probably the only character to use hair cards, for the feathers, all the other characters have solid hair.
This character was modeled in Zbrush and Maya, baked in Marmoset, textured in Substance Painter and then rendered in Unreal 5.5
